Independent Researcher CONICET
Teacher at the Astronomical and Geophysical Sciences Faculty, UNLP

I’m an independent researcher at CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council) and professor at the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the UNLP (National University of La Plata). I specialize in modeling equations of state for compact objects and phase diagrams of quantum chromodynamics. I hold a PhD in Physics from the Brazilian Center for Physical Research (Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). I also have worked at the University of San Diego, California, USA, investigating phase transitions in dense matter, proto-neutron stars, and hybrid stars.  My interests include dark matter, neutron star cooling, and phenomena associated with neutron star crusts. When I’m not unraveling the secrets of compact objects, I’m a dedicated martial artist. In martial arts I find the perfect balance between the physics of motion and mental discipline.
